Our staff is complete!! Welcome Brigid & Han

Join us in welcoming the two newest additions to our parish staff.

Hi all, my name is Han (think Han Solo!) and I’m excited to be part of the team as your Parish Admin Assistant. I’m a Seattle native- my parents met in the ‘80s at the Vietnamese Martyrs church that used to be on Jackson- although I grew up in Renton (home parish: St. Anthony’s). I’m a current Blessed Sacrament parishioner, although I live just 10 minutes from St. Vincent de Paul in Federal Way. So I have many parishes that I feel “connected” to. I attended St. Edwards in south Seattle from Pre-K through 8th, Holy Names Academy (class of 2012!), and UW (class of 2016 – go Huskies!) with a degree in Sociology w/ an English minor. I was previously a Peer Minister at the Prince of Peace Newman Center at UW (2014-15). On Sundays, I assist with Sunday School at Blessed Sacrament co-teaching 3rd grade. My favorite things to do are hanging with family/friends, baking, and volunteering. I’m also down for a cup of coffee and more than happy to attempt to bake your favorite dessert! My favorite saints are: Padre Pio, St. Josemaria Escriva, and St. Therese of Lisieux (my patron saint “inherited” from my godmother). I love connecting with people (an outgoing introvert!) so don’t hesitate to pop by and chat.

Brigid McMahan joins St. Anne’s Parish as the new Business Manager. Throughout her career she has been passionate about story-telling, relationship building and approaching problem-solving with creative and efficient solutions. Prior to joining St. Anne’s, Brigid worked in higher education, most recently at Northeastern University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Specifically, she has developed and overseen all aspects of international programs, from managing budgets to helping faculty and students to get the most out of their global experiences.

While new to the Seattle area, it feels like coming “home” to the Pacific Northwest after growing up near Eugene, Oregon, but living in Dallas and Boston for the past twelve years. Brigid completed her Bachelor of Arts in history at the University of Dallas and has a Master’s in Business Administration from Simmons University. She is also a published children’s book author and avid traveler – recently accomplishing a goal of going to all fifty states. Brigid is looking forward to getting to know the St. Anne community and welcomes a good pun or hike recommendation!
