Parish Life of Sacred Heart of Jesus & St. Anne

Dear Readers, Parishioners from Sacred Heart of Jesus & St. Anne,

Exciting times are ahead as we come together as a Parish Family of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Fatima, and St. Anne. We’re thrilled to share that a unified website for all three parishes is on the way! In the meantime, we’re delighted to present our new combined bulletin. This bulletin, for now, will serve both St. Anne and Sacred Heart of Jesus as we work towards perfecting it. This change is all about better serving our Parish Family Community and keeping everyone informed and connected.

We know that merging communications from several parishes is a big task. Will we get everything right immediately? Most likely not. But please trust that we’re doing our best, be patient, and share your feedback!

Whether you’re looking for upcoming events, inspirational messages, or ways to get involved, our bulletin has it all! So, grab a copy, explore the new features, and let us know what you think. We believe this change will bring us closer together and help us all stay informed and inspired.

Let’s Join Hands & Make a Difference!

Under the guidance of Archbishop Etienne, we invite our Catholic community to come together in support of National Disaster Relief. In light of the recent devastation from Hurricane Helene and the anticipated impact of Hurricane Milton, we have set up an online option for our parishioners to donate directly to Catholic Charities USA. Your contributions will be used immediately to provide much-needed aid during this emergency.

Important Notice: Beware of Phishing Scams

Dear Parishioners,

Recently, we have received reports of fraudulent emails and messages claiming to be from our parish staff or pastor, asking for money or personal information. These emails can be very convincing and often urge you to keep the request confidential.

Please be aware that our staff and pastor will never ask for money, gift cards, or personal information via email, text, or social media. If you receive any such request that does not come through our official channels, it is a scam.

To protect yourself from phishing scams, please follow these guidelines:

  • Verify the sender’s email address: Ensure it matches our official parish domain.
  • Do not click on suspicious links: Hover over links to see the actual URL before clicking.
  • Do not share personal information: Never provide personal or financial information in response to unsolicited requests.
  • Contact the parish office: If you have any doubts or concerns, please contact us directly.

Thank you for your vigilance and cooperation in keeping our community safe.

Blessings,

Your Parish Family Team

Changes at Sacred Heart of Jesus

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus Parishioners,

To better serve the administrative needs of the Sacred Heart of Jesus community and reduce costs, administrative functions will now be managed by the Parish Family Leadership Team at our sister parish, St. Anne. Although Ashley Do will no longer be on staff, we appreciate her contributions over the past several months and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

We will continue to offer:

  • Regular Confession and Mass services at the SHJ church at the usual times.
  • Sacramental Services such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
  • Confirmation & First Communion
  • Pastoral Care visits and support for the sick, elderly, and homebound.

Where we might need some time for adaptation:

  • Our weekly bulletin.
  • Our mass intentions,
  • and many of the small things that are unique to Sacred Heart of Jesus.

We deeply appreciate your unwavering support. Thank you for being with us every step of the way!
