Finance & Facility Spotlight September

Finance & Facility Spotlight

Dear Parishioners,

This may be the last spotlight in this format as I have been transitioning my role to Director of Finance over both St. Anne and Sacred Heart Parishes. Mark Abadir, as the new Director of Operations, is starting to pick up more of the facility side of things.

Stay tuned for more information around that and as always, thank you for your continued support,

Brigid

FINANCES

  • – So far we successfully raised $10,7 76 over our Annual Catholic Appeal goal. This means that with the matching gift, we have $21,552. going towards one of the three rebate projects which is very exciting! We will be closing the voting opportunity in the coming months, so please vote while you have the chance!
  • – In the coming weeks, we will be publishing the Parish Annual Report, please be on the look out for that as it not only contains financial information but a snapshot of all the beautiful community that has gathered this past year.
  • – After a summer break, our finance council is resuming meeting this month.

FACILITIES

  • – SAVE THE DATE: please join us on Wednesday, October 2 for mass and a gathering to show our appreciation for all the volunteer support we receive!
  • – The church doors continue to be a work in progress. We are finalizing a date for the work to be done. Unfortunately, it is looking to require a replacement of the system all together which is going to cost about $25,000. We appreciate all of you, especially the volunteers and groups who have been so patient during this disruption.
  • – The school parking lot was restriped this weekend. The church parking lot will be restriped soon as well. Please stay tuned for updates on when the church parking lot will be closed for this work.
  • – We had a landscaping and tree trimming team out to help with some bigger projects which will hopefully make our campus clean ups easier this fall. Stay tuned for more information around those events scheduled for October 26 and November 9.
