Dear Readers, Parishioners from Sacred Heart of Jesus & St. Anne,

As we embrace the beauty of late October, we are reminded of the many blessings that surround us. The vibrant colors of autumn and the crispness in the air invite us to reflect on the abundance in our lives and the grace of God’s creation. This time of year, also brings us closer to the celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, moments to honor and remember those who have gone before us in faith.

We encourage you to take a moment to give thanks for the treasures in your life and to share that gratitude with others.

Our high school students are invited to join hundreds of other high schoolers from across the Archdiocese of Seattle for this year’s Catholic Youth Convention, taking place at St. Martin University in Lacey on Saturday, October 26th!  Transportation will be provided to and from the event.

The conference aims to build a vision of unity that recognizes all individuals as God’s children, emphasizing the inclusion of people of color within Catholic church and school communities. Attendees will learn from the experience of people of color and gain practical strategies to embody the belief that “we are all God’s children.”

The church doors at St. Anne continue to be a work in progress. We should have a date finalized soon for the replacement for the keycard system. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have worked through the process.

A window in the Sacred Heart bathroom at the front of the church was broken and will be repaired soon.
