Dr. Charles Hiestand, composer, pianist, bass player, producer, and choir director has been a church musician in Seattle since 1994. He played piano at St. Therese in Madrona, was Pastoral Assistant for Music at St. Benedict, and is currently the Music Director at St. Anne in Queen Anne. He also plays for weddings, funerals, and other Masses at many churches in the Seattle area. Outside of church, he teaches, plays piano for the Northwest Firelight Choral, has a band called Hopscotch, and works on various recording and film projects.
