Father Dominic Bao Quoc Tran, a Redemptorist priest, is a native of Vietnam and the seventh of twelve children. His family immigrated to Montreal, Quebec, in 1980. After completing his priestly formation in Montreal, he joined the Redemptorist Congregation in California and was ordained in Los Angeles on July 28, 1990.
Over the past 34 years, he has served in various capacities, including parish ministry, mass media, education, family apostolates, and missionary programs. He spent seven years on a mission in Vietnam, teaching moral theology and engaging in socio-pastoral ministries.
Returning to Seattle in September 2023, he now serves the parish family of Our Lady of Fatima, Saint Anne, and Sacred Heart of Jesus. He looks forward to reconnecting with the community and sharing the journey of faith together.
