The 2023 #Pray40 Lent Challenge invites us to surrender our own desires and draw near to Jesus through prayer, fasting and giving for forty days. Each week, we’ll focus on a theme based on the Sunday Gospel and pray alongside related passages from the Imitation of Christ by Thomas a Kempis, the secnod most widely read Christian book of all time after the Bible. As we walk alongside Him for forty days leading up to Easter, we hope to grow in humility such that we might imitate Christ in daily life.
