September 6 ~ Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ For all catechists to give witness by living in a way consistent with the faith they proclaim.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.

+ For a remedy to the broken immigration systems in the United States, Great Britain and European Union that fail people and families desperate for decent work and a better life.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.

+ May all students and teachers be blessed as they begin a new school year.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.

+ May we remember that each and every one of us is your child, loved and cherished by you forever, and that we are, therefore, to love one another without partiality, bias, prejudice or precondition - acting with kindness and love to all in your name.  Help us to do so.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.

+ Give us the courage and love to be partners with you in your reign of love on earth.  Lord of love and justice, we pray

+ For the grace this week to listen well to your Word and to be fearless in proclaiming it.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Frances Covey, Terry Casey, and Hank Durand, husband of Pat Durand.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord of love and justice, we pray.
