October 6 ~ 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ For the world:  if it be your will, Lord, show us a just and peaceful resolution to the inequity between the very rich and the struggling poor.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ For the Church:  mayPope Francis and all our church leaders guide us to an ever-deeper commitment to Jesus, our redeemer.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ Comfort, with your tenderness, those grieving the loss of a beloved person -- or animal.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ Help us to wait for the light of your justice which will surely come: it will not be late.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ Set on fire within us our own gifts of the Holy Spirit for the healing of the world.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ We pray for all those who are sick including Joan Johnson, Margaret Rican  Frank Siderius, Alan Rosenthal, Beverly Peterson, and Naomi Zamberlin.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ We pray also for those who have died including Katherine Gehrts, Jeff Nolan, and Michael Rockstad, brother of Susan Lester.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord of all faithfulness, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
