October 30 ~ Thirty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ During this Year of Mercy, may the Church go forth toward those who are wounded and in need of an attentive ear, forgiveness and love.  Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

+ May we remember that you loathe nothing that you have made because everything you have made is good.  Everything and everyone, including ourselves, has been called forth by you and we are all soaked in your love.  Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

+ Direct the minds and hearts of those in public office for the true peace and freedom of all.  Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

+ As we vote in this election, give us a deep heart of love and care equally for all, including those whose lifestyle, religion, outlook, values or behavior differ from our own.  Because you love each of us unconditionally, may we bear such love into this needy world.  Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

+ For the grace to glorify your name in all we say and do.  Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; Chris Hurley; Mike Finn; Taylor Thole (toe-lee); Kathleen Todd; and Rufus Moore.   We  pray  for  those who have died, including  Larry McNamee, Father Gary Morelli and Nita Hester. Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Holy Trinity, our glory and shield, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
