October 27 ~ 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ For the world: grace this generation, Lord, with the willingness to forfeit some comforts now so that future generations may live.  Spirit of love, we pray.

+ For the Church: oh Lord, deliver your people from arrogance and self-righteousness.  Spirit of love, we pray.

+ Help us to never forget that, in Jesus, you came to lift up all, including the lowly, the poor, the outcast and the despised.  Spirit of love, we pray.

+ May we humbly love one another through your Spirit in us, so that we may live in your liberating freedom.  Spirit of love, we pray.

+ We pray for all those who are sick including Naomi Zamberlin, Kathi Ellsworth, Joan Johnson, Alan Rosenthal, Margaret Rican, Frank Siderius, Beverly Peterson, and John O’Keefe, brother of Kate Youngblood and uncle of Jacob and Ryan.   Spirit of love, we pray.

+ We pray also for those who have died. Spirit of love, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Spirit of love, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
