October 25 ~ Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ That through the Church's announcement of the Gospel, your word may increase love and give full meaning to pain and suffering.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ In the world may there be peace and true brotherly love among all peoples and nations, especially in the areas of conflict now spreading in the Middle East.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ May we never forget, not even in our darkest hour, that we are all your children, all beloved and magnificent in your eyes.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ For those facing difficult decisions:  that you will stand by them and enlighten their minds and hearts.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ Help us to truly see with our eyes and with our hearts, so that we may always be following Jesus on the way.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to be healed of spiritual blindness and to live by faith.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Frances Keenan; Charlene Collora; Mike Finn; Mary Shelly; Karen & Bill Cook, parents of Regan Hurley; and Kathy Milia, niece of Marty Hillary.  Also, we pray for those who have died including, Danny Sarunich [sair'-uh-nich], father of Danella Anderson; Rosemary Foong, mother of Corrina Seck, and Dale Dankers.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Merciful Jesus, Son of God, we pray.
