November 22 ~ Feast of Christ the King

+ That, as the Year of Consecrated Life draws to a close, religious men and women may rediscover the joy of following Christ and strive to serve the poor with zeal.  Christ our King, we pray.

+ For world leaders:  that they will see their power as a sharing in your authority and reflect this in the way they guide and provide for their people.  Christ our King, we pray.

+ May the truth, the justice and sovereignty of Christ the King rid the world of every trace of hatred.  Christ our King, we pray.

+ Help us to ever remember, regardless of what happens in this world, that the power of your kingdom is love.  Christ our King, we pray.

+ May we listen to the voice of Jesus speaking truth to us today.  Christ our King, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to surrender ourselves in obedience to your kingdom.  Christ our King, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Charlene Collora; Mike Finn; Michelle Betts, Sister Virginia Pearson and Mary Shelly. We pray for those who have died including, Rosie Palmer, Merton Purnell, father of Chuck Purnell, and all those included on our Altar of Remembrance  Christ our King, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Christ our King, we pray.
