November 19 ~ Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church stand before the world without stain or blemish, holy and obedient to your word.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ That Christians in Asia, bearing witness to the Gospel, promote dialogue, peace and mutual understanding, especially with those of other religions.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+In a world of violence and hatred, let us be instruments of your peace and love.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ May we not live in fear and inaction but rather, with your love, work joyfully in the world to help heal it.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+Help us each day to live more fully as your disciple.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+For the grace to remain sober and alert, attentive to the promptings of the Spirit in our lives.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, especially Veronica Maldonado; and Mary Ann Kramer, mother of Paul Kramer.  We pray also for those who have died, including Rebecca Kinn, mother of Mike Kinn; Richard Daly, father of Suzanne Rosenthal; Leona Neuburger, grandmother of Jim Neuberger, and Nancy Hoffman, mother of Carolyn Carlesimo.     Christ, our life, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Christ, our life, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
