May 7 ~ Fourth Sunday of Easter

+ For the bishops, the shepherds of the Church, that they will be filled with the zeal and fervor of divine love.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ May those who have gone astray like sheep, hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, the loving guardian of their souls.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ May those who are confirmed this week keep growing in their faith and be filled with the fire of your love.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ May we generously give our love and active support to all St. Anne community members and families who may be suffering from the effects of mental illnesses.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ Help us to know in our minds and in our hearts that we are your beloved and that you delight in us.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ For the grace to live by the power of the name of Jesus.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; Frances Covey; Max Hanson; and Margaret Angelos.  Also, we pray for those who have died, including Rosemary Siderius and Father Joseph Petosa.   Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Good Shepherd, gate of the sheepfold, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at
