May 19 ~ 5th Sunday of Easter

+ For all of us here and around the globe, may the inclusiveness of your love open our hearts and melt away divisiveness.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

+ For the children who are receiving First Communion this Sunday:  may they be aware of God's love for them now and throughout all their lives.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

+ Also be with those who will be confirmed this week.  May they keep growing in their faith and be filled with the fire of your love.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

+ God of love, we know you are with us in every transition and change.  As we enter this time of transition at St. Anne, help us find peace in the knowledge of your compassion, presence and abiding love for this community.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

+ For the grace to love others as Jesus has loved us.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, including Carolanne Sinclair; Angela Downs; Chris Hurley; Molly Malloy, and Archbishop Alex Brunett.  We also pray for those who have died, including Carol Berbells, sister of Marge Grinnell; and Alice Jones.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord who sustains us, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
