May 10 ~ Sixth Sunday of Easter

+ In this year dedicated to consecrated life, may religious men and women rediscover the joy of following Christ, and strive to serve the poor with zeal.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+For all mothers around the world: may they love and nurture their children, and teach them the way of peace.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+ May you bring forth prophets in our day to address the issues facing our country, and to inspire leaders with your truth.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+ We are so quick to find fault in others; help us, instead, to love one another into a greater wholeness.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+ May we remember that you are love, that you are incarnate in each of us, and that we are to be that love for others.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to love one another.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+ For all those who are sic,k especially Sister Virginia Pearson and Michele Betts; and for those who have died, including Rich Schneider, Mary Hulka, Patty Moriarty Gilroy; and Helen Kennedy, mother of Craig Kennedy.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.

+ In gratitude for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord whose glory shines on us, we pray.
