March 13 ~ Fifth Sunday of Lent

+ For those preparing to be received into the Church this Easter: that their preparation will be a time of transforming grace.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ May those Christians who, because of their faith, are discriminated against or are being persecuted, remain strong and faithful to the Gospel, thanks to the incessant prayer of the Church.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ Give us the courage and passion we need to continue in the way of Christ.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ Help us never to pass judgment on others since we ourselves have failed -- many times -- but rather, help us to act in a way that invites those we might criticize into community.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ Help us to be aware of your presence with us this weekend as we make our pilgrimage to St. James Cathedral.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ For the grace to return to you in true contrition and confession of our sins.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Mike Finn; Terry Casey; and Lauren Kinney.  We pray also for those who have died.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  God, our Father who loves us, we pray.
