March 1 ~ 2nd Sunday of Lent

+ May the Church stand before the world without stain or blemish, holy and obedient to your Word.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ For the souls of those who have been murdered for their faith, for those who are being persecuted for their faith, and for those who are fleeing to safety so they may practice their faith.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ May our parish community observe this season of Lent as a time of deeper conversion.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ As you did with Abraham, help us to have unwavering trust in you.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ Like Jesus, we too are your beloved.  May our lives be grounded in this sacred understanding.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to see your presence in all the circumstances and situations of life.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Charlene Collora; Esther Walsh, mother of Mary Ellen Kennedy; Lisa Moulding, sister of Jason Moulding; Pat McCarthy, Jim Waldref, and Ed Moriarty.   Also, we pray for those who have died including Louise Lamb-Tompkins, daughter of Connie Lamb; and Father William Slate.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  God, the Father of unfailing mercy, we pray.
