June 9 ~ Pentecost

+ May the Holy Spirit, who makes present the mystery of Christ, reconcile all people and bring them into communion with you and your Church.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

+ We ask your blessings on everyone throughout the world.  Give us all the courage to follow in the path of Jesus, though your Holy Spirit, bringing peace, justice and mercy into the world.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

+ May the fires of the Holy Spirit ignite a blazing fire in our own hearts.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

+ In gratitude for your Spirit moving in our community, weaving our community into one, as the Body of Christ, for the healing of the world.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

+ For the grace to live with the strength bestowed on us by the Holy Spirit.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, including Molly Malloy, Alan Rosenthal, Gordon Rosenthal, Margaret Rican, Sharon Cercone, and Naomi Zamberlin.  We also pray for those who have died.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Spirit of God, our advocate, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
