June 5 ~ Tenth Sunday of Ordinary Time

+ That the Church may be a place of mercy freely given, where everyone can feel welcomed, loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the good life of the Gospel.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ For peace in the world and love between all peoples and nations.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ During the summer months, may families grow in love for each other, in service to the poor, and in prayer to you.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ Oh, God, in our fears, anxiety and disorientation in life, help us to always turn to you in trust.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ We ask for your blessings and illumination upon us as we participate in and share our works of mercy for the Works of Mercy poster in the entryway.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to trust in your providence, especially at the darkest moments.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Charlene Collora, Mike Finn and Terry Casey.  Also, we pray for those who have died.    Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord of light and salvation, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
