June 4 ~ Pentecost

+ May the Holy Spirit, who makes present the mystery of Christ, reconcile all people and bring them into communion with you and your Church.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ May the outpouring of your Spirit create in us an ever stronger dedication to you and a deeper sense of unity with each other.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ For all of us who have grown lukewarm in our faith: may the Holy Spirit drive out the coldness in our lives and rekindle the desire of heaven in our hearts.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ Help us to remember and honor the fact that the great diversity of our gifts of the Spirit makes us stronger as community.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ May we each use our own gifts of the Spirit which we have received, to benefit this community, your church in the world and all we come in contact with in our lives.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ For the grace to live with the new energy and self-awareness bestowed on us by the Holy Spirit.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; Laurie McKim; Joyce Powers; and Margaret Angelos.  Also, we pray for those who have died, including Jim Kessler, and Terry Casey.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Holy Spirit, fire of your love, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at
