June 3 ~ The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
Saturday | June 2, 2018 | 16:00 PM
+ For the Church, the Body of Christ: that we will deepen our devotion to your sacrifice which gives life to the world. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ May the redemptive power of Christ's Eucharistic sacrifice extend to the hearts and minds of those who govern. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ Help us to become aware once again, in the breaking of the bread and the drinking of the wine, that you are always with us. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ Transform our community into becoming itself the very Body of Christ, and may this transformation move us out into the world to love, minister to, and help all people. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ We ask your blessings on all graduating students in our St. Anne community - whether they be 8th graders, or high school or college seniors, or others. As they move out into the larger world, help them to be the people you have created each of them to be, for their joy and for the good of the world. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ For the grace to adore the presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ For all those who are sick including Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko; Jill Ragsdale; Chari Kinney; and Cheryl Potakos. We also pray for those who have died, including Pamela Cameron, and Marianne Jurich. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving. We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts. Jesus, bread of life, we pray.
The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures. If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited: No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community. For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
