June 25 ~ Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May all those who are set apart to preach, teach, or minister in the Church, witness to Jesus Christ fearlessly and without compromise.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ For the whole world: we ask you to move the hearts of those hardened by hatred so that they may be open to love, and so that revenge may finally give way to forgiveness.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ Father, may you enlighten with your wisdom, all those whom you appoint to positions of authority in the church and in all nations.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ Help us to not be afraid in the world, but to be bold in your service because we know you love us and will care for us.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ May we here at St. Anne continue to be a welcoming community dedicated to the mission of Jesus Christ for the transformation and healing of the world.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ For the grace to live no longer for ourselves but for Christ.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; Joyce Powers; and Margaret Angelos.  Also, we pray for those who have died, including Jennifer Lamance, Brad Steele, and Richard Kramer, father of Paul Kramer.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

+ In gratitude for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord, bounteous in kindness, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at
