June 17 ~ Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church put forth branches and bear fruit, as it reaches out to all humanity.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ For the U.S. and world leaders and all elected officials: may they provide care and assistance to those forced to flee, helping them build new lives; and may they work together to end the strife and persecution that gives rise to the refugee crises.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ We pray especially for your divine protection for the children of refugees who are being forcefully separated from their families.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ Like the mustard seed that grows into a large tree, help us to trust that our actions of kindness and love, though small, may add immeasurably to the lives of others, even though we may know nothing about it.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ For the grace to live fruitful lives, and be attentive to the Gospel.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ During the summer months, may each of us grow in love for each other, in service to the poor, and in prayer to you.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including Adriana Stewart; Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko; Jill Ragsdale; Chari Kinney; Frances Covey, and Cheryl Potakos.  We also pray for those who have died, including Pamela Cameron, Marianne Jurich, Mary Krininger and Gene McMurray.    Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Holy Spirit, giver of life, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
