June 12 ~ Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church stand before the world without stain or blemish, holy and obedient to your word.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ That seminarians and men and women entering religious life may have mentors who live the joy of the Gospel and prepare them wisely for their mission.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ Remind us every day, oh Lord, that it is not the good deeds that we do, but rather the love we have in our hearts; and may we always respond to your forgiveness and mercy with abundant love.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ For our parish, that it will be a place of faith-filled communion, unceasing prayer, and charitable service.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ We ask your blessings on St. Anne parishioners Kelsey and Garrett who are riding in the World Relief Seattle bike tour to raise awareness and funds for local refugee families.  Help us to respond to their efforts with our prayers, financial help and love.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ For all of our parishioners and family members who are graduating this month: may they be blessed with confidence in God’s direction in their lives.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Joan Lord, Mike Finn; Terry Casey; and Judy Casey.  We also pray for those who have died, especially Charlene Collora.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus, strength of those who hope in you, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
