June 10 ~ Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church be a place of mercy freely given, where everyone can feel welcomed, loved, forgiven, and encouraged to live the good life of the Gospel.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

+ For all refugees who are forced to flee from their homes:  may they be brought to a lifesaving place of peace and safety.  Help us to find the compassion to walk in solidarity with them, and the courage to advocate on their behalf.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

+ We pray especially for refugee children who have been separated from their families due to difficult circumstances or death.  We fervently pray that you will give them your divine protection.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

+ May we not dwell in scarcity of spirit.  Rather, help us to live with our hearts in tune to your abundance, the abundance of life itself.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

+ For the grace to trust in your providence, especially at the darkest moments.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko; Jill Ragsdale; Chari Kinney; and Cheryl Potakos.   We also pray for those who have died including Pamela Cameron, and Marianne Jurich.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord, my light and my salvation, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
