July 8 ~ Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church be a place of mercy freely given where everyone can feel loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the life of the Gospel.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ In a world torn by strife, may your people shine forth as a prophetic sign of unity and harmony.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for the divine mystery, that even though we can be rebellious and hard of heart, still you desire a relationship with us.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ Give us confidence, faith, and openness to your presence in our hearts so that we might experience the miracle of a full life which you offer us every day.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ We ask your blessings on our community's work to serve our neighbors in need, especially through our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ For the grace to rely on the help of Jesus in moments of weakness.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including  Ilse Wefers, Jill Ragsdale; Chari Kinney; Frances Covey, and Cheryl Potakos.  We also pray for those who have died, including Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko.    Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord of mercy and help, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
