July 3 ~ Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary time

+ May the Church be a place of mercy freely given where everyone can feel loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the life of the Gospel.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ Throughout the world may all national leaders be inspired to help all their people live a life without hardship, and to have a life of freedom, peace and love.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ In times of despair and distress, help us to remember, O Lord, that you are our mother comforting, holding and loving us, and replenishing our hope.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ May we be laborers in your vineyard and simply love one another in the name of Jesus.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ We ask for your blessings on our St. Anne's youth mission to a migrant worker's camp in Burlington this week.  We also pray with deepest respect for the lives and work of the migrants who labor in the fields of Washington State to bring in the harvest.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ For blessings on our nation as we celebrate Independence Day, that you will bless our country and keep us always thankful for the gift of freedom.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, especially Joan Lord, Mike Finn; Terry Casey; and Judy Casey.  We also pray for those who have died, especially Charlene Collora, Barbara Steinauer, Skye Williamson and Unity Cantwell, mother of Tina Cantwell Connors.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  God our Father, Master of the Harvest, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
