July 15 ~ Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church act as mediator in finding solutions to problems affecting peace, social harmony and civil rights.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ That priests may find help and comfort i their intimacy with you and in their friendship with their brother priests.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ We pray for the state of our country: that the truth, compassion and justice of your spirit will prevail.  May we be part of this healing.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ Help us to live as your disciples, respecting each other, tolerating each other's weaknesses, listening to one another and making the effort to understand, and being quick to forgive.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ As we collect school supplies and backpacks for the students at Mary's Place who are homeless, we ask your blessing on our efforts to help and support these children.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ For the grace to live in a way that gives constant glory and praise to you.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including Jill Ragsdale; Chari Kinney; Frances Covey, and Ilse Wefers.  We also pray for those who have died, including Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko.  Christ, our light, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Christ, our light, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
