July 14 ~ 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ Help us, as your Church, to listen for your voice of love and then to follow.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ We pray that world leaders will persevere in exploring avenues of common purpose to reach a just and peaceful resolution with Iran.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ Dear Lord, may all of us, your disciples, like the good Samaritan, recognize refugees as victims of violence deserving of our compassion and care.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ For those who suffer in mind and spirit, who are addicted to pain-numbing substances, who live in despair, that they may encounter your saving love and be redeemed.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ We pray for our community as we search for ways to respond to the needs of others.  Help us to understand in a very deep way that what you require of us is already in our hearts and in every breath we take.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ For the grace to recognize a neighbor in all whom we encounter, and to love them as we love ourselves.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including Naomi Zamberlin, Alan Rosenthal, Frank Siderius, Bev Peterson, Margaret Rican.  We pray also for those who have died including Mary Ann Boyle.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  God of our innermost being, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
