July 12 ~ Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ That the Church may act as mediator in finding solutions to problems affecting peace, social harmony and civil rights.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ For the world: may political leaders heed the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor by having the political will to address climate change.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ May we not tolerate social injustice by turning away from it, but by facing it directly, according to your will.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ Like your disciples, help us to be part of bringing your kingdom of love, acceptance and forgiveness to the earth.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ May our parish be a vibrant community of prayer and evangelization.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to hear and proclaim by our words and actions the truths of the Gospel.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Marianne Jurich, and Leala Moore, mother of Rebecca Weber; and for those who have died, including Edward Bawyn, father of Father Tony; Helen Knutzen; and Henry Steuli, nephew of Monica Flora. Lord dwelling within us, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord dwelling within us, we pray.
