July 1 ~ Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May you strengthen the bond of unity between the faithful and the pastors and leaders of the Church.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ May we remember that all the creatures of the world you have made are good, that justice is undying, and that you made us in your own  image.  Help us to live and act accordingly.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ May we, as the woman in today's Gospel, encounter you in faith, so that we may be healed.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ Bless our nation as we celebrate Independence Day, and keep us always thankful for the gift of freedom.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ We ask your special blessings on the St. Anne teens who will be serving the migrant workers in the Skagit Valley this week.  May this experience transform their lives and the lives of those they meet and serve.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ For the grace to help the poor, the sick, the downtrodden and those most in need.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including Adriana Stewart, Jill Ragsdale; Chari Kinney; Frances Covey, and Cheryl Potakos.  We also pray for those who have died, including Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko; Mary Krininger; and those who died in the shooting in Annapolis.  Christ, our life, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Christ, our life, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
