January 31 ~ Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Lord of Love, we pray

+ During this Jubilee Year of Mercy, may the Church preach and teach with authority, winning many to the truth of the Gospel.  Lord of love, we pray.

+ May all people, including us, take good care of creation -- a gift freely given -- cultivating and protecting it for future generations.  Lord of love, we pray.

+ May we remember that, like Jeremiah in today's reading, you have known us since before we were born, and you love us; that as unworthy as we are, you choose us, and we are never alone, for you walk with us throughout our lives.  Lord of love, we pray.

+ Because you are love, help us to bring your love to all others.    Lord of love, we pray.

+ We ask your special blessing on all the ministries carried out by the people of our St. Anne Parish, in your name.  Lord of love, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to be truly loving in thought, word and deed.  Lord of love, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Charlene Collora; Mike Finn; Terry Casey; Levi Jennings; and Florence Pung.  We pray also for those who have died, including Doug Hobbins, uncle of Adam Hobbins; and Gerda Franc, and Vera Cornall.  Lord of love, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord of love, we pray.
