January 29 ~ Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church stand before the world without stain or blemish, holy and obedient to your Word.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ In this time of division, fear and deep-seated ill-will in our country - in your name and through your love of all people - unite us in faith, strengthen our courage, and give us perseverance to climb the mountains before us.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ For the poor, the sick, the homeless, those who are hungry, or lonely, or unemployed throughout the world; may your mercy raise them up.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ Help us all to live out our true identity as your children.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ Unite us in this community of St. Anne's as we actively work to discern your call to help heal the world.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ For the grace to live the beatitudes.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; and Alice Rosenthal.  Also, we pray for those who have died including Nellie Johnston, and Michelle Ryan.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
