January 24 ~ Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ That, during this Jubilee Year of Mercy, the church will be ever more fervent in proclaiming the Kingdom of God.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.

+ For those in the world who suffer from violence or disasters: may we all help each other with love and selfless service.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.

+ In thanksgiving for your word which refreshes the soul, encourages our spirits and enlightens our hearts.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.

+ Help us to remember we are all part of Christ's body no matter who we are - our background, temperament, coloring, status in life or anything else.  As such may we care for one another, sharing our joys and sorrows and uplifting all.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.

+ For the grace to deepen our reverence for the Word of God.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Charlene Collora; Mike Finn; Terry Casey; Levi Jennings; and Florence Pung.  We pray also for those who have died, including Katie Berg; and Doug Hobbins, uncle of Adam Hobbins.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus, who brings glad tidings, we pray.
