January 19, 2020 ~ 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ For the Church: we pray for blessings on all our baptized, old and new, as we continue to learn and grow in our faith.  Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ In this Week of Prayer for Christian Unity may Christians the world over work and pray together for the fulfillment of Christ's will.  Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ As we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, may our country end all racism, bigotry and prejudice.  Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ We are ecclesia, your church, and share one faith, one baptism and one Spirit.  Help us to respect and care for one another in our life together. Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ Work through us, oh Lord, so that we may be your light in the darkness. Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ We pray for all who are sick [include here the names of those for whom you wish to pray.]  Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ We pray for those who have died including Joe Navone.  Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.   Jesus, Lamb of God, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
