January 18 ~ 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ For blessings on this Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:  that all Christians may be one in faith, hope and charity.  Christ our Light, we pray.

+ That those from diverse religious traditions and all people of goodwill may work together for peace.  Christ our Light, we pray.

+ May our country celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a resolve that racism, bigotry and prejudice be banished from the earth.  Christ our Light, we pray.

+ May we say with open hearts:  "Speak, Lord, your servant is listening."  Christ our Light, we pray.

+ May we live, honoring our own bodies as holy, temples of the Lord.  Christ our Light, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to have ears open to obedience and a heart eager to do your will.  Christ our Light, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick: Charlene Collora and Maria Cinquina.   Also, we pray for those who have died including Mary Ann Legaz, Mary Zorotovich, and Rick Sanchez.     Christ our Light, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts. Christ our Light, we pray.
