February 4 ~ Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May the Church preach and teach with authority, winning many to the Gospel.  Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

+ In the world, may we see an end to terrorism and that there be healing of hatred and division among all peoples. Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

+ Although we question in our minds how you can allow human suffering, may we trust that regardless, you are always with us in that suffering and love us. Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

+ Help us to always remember our calling to bring the Good news of your love to all, through our compassion toward everyone we meet. Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

+ We ask your blessings on our community’s work to serve our neighbors who are in need, through our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society. Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

+ For the grace to grasp the hand of those in need and raise them up. Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, especially Father Jim Lee.  We also pray for those who have died, including Alice Rosenthal; and Ralph Ryan. Jesus, healer of all, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.   Jesus, healer of all, we pray.
