February 26 ~ Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ That through the Church's faithful announcement of the Gospel, your Word may increase love and give full meaning to pain and suffering.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ For an end to all terrorism, and the hatred and fear that incite it.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ Write it on our hearts you will never forget us, and that your mercy and tenderness are with us always.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ May we not worry about anything but rather, trust in you.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ In these final days of the discernment process for parish councils and commissions, help us to faithfully consider how we might share our own unique gifts to enrich our parish community.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ For the grace to seek first your Kingdom in our life.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; and Alice Rosenthal.  Also, we pray for those who have died including Florence Pung, Hugh McIntosh, and Mary Alice Lee.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord, our rock and our strength, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
