February 19 ~ Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

+ May all bishops, united with the authority of the chair of St. Pete, be zealous and loving shepherds of Christ's flock.  Lord of Love, we pray.

+ Regardless of the powerful influences in today's culture, including its values and ways of thinking, may we always remember that we belong to you.  Lord of Love, we pray.

+ That all families, especially those in our parish community, be deeply united in unconditional love, forgiveness and generosity.  Lord of Love, we pray.

+ Help us to undertand that to be ourselves - who we are meant to be - is to be love. Lord of Love, we pray.

+ Give us generous hearts as we donate gifts and supplies for Steve Albright and Paula Cipolla's journey to a small village in Guatemala to serve the people of that village with their medical knowledge, compassion and assistance.  Lord of Love, we pray.

+ For the grace to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us.  Lord of Love, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, especially Betty Bertoldi; and Alice Rosenthal.  Also we pray for thos who have died including Florence Pung and Mary Alice Lee.  Lord of Love, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving. We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts. Lord of Love, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
