February 15 ~ 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time

February 15, Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

+That the Church may act as mediator in finding solutions to problems affecting peace, social harmony, and the defense of human life and civil rights.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.

+ For all those who are suffering from incurable diseases, those who are in pain, and those who are seeking healing in your name.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.

+ May we, like Jesus, be moved with compassion and empathy by the suffering in the world; and like him, may we do what we can to help heal it.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.

+ May our parish community give witness to the truth that true faith in you is inseparable from self-giving, service and reconciliation with others.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.

+ For the grace this week to be imitators of Jesus Christ in our every thought, word and action.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.

+ For all who are sick especially Charlene Collora (ko-lor'-a); Esther Walsh, mother of Mary Ellen Kennedy; Lisa Moulding, sister of Jason Moulding; and Jim Waldref.   Also, we pray for those who have died including Rick Sanchez; Ellen Fuhrman; Richard Crist; and Louise Lamb, daughter of Connie Lamb.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Christ, healer of all, we pray.
