December 4 ~ 2nd Sunday of Advent

+ For the renewal of the Church in holiness during this sacred season of Advent.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ That Christ may guide the minds of those who govern so as to promote the common good according to your will.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ Make us instruments of your justice and faithfulness, bringing hope and peace to this world through our kindness, respect and acceptance of all peoples, in your name.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ Oh God, this Advent season, plunge us anew into your love and anoint us with your fire.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ Bless our work in fulfilling the gift requests on our parish Giving Tree, as we seek to heal and transform the world one person at a time.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ For the grace to have hope and lives that glorify you.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; John Kalnin; Chris Hurley; Mike Finn; Taylor Thole; and George Lamb, father of Jennifer Hazzard.   We pray for those who have died, including George Barnecut, Harriet Zalke, mother of Cindy Moriarty; and Charles Kennedy, father of Steve Kennedy.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus, King of Justice, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
