December 24 ~ Fourth Sunday in Advent

+ By the grace of apostleship, may the bishops of the Church draw forth from others a deeper obedience of faith.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ For progress and peace in the whole world.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ We pray for our nation:  that here, too, your will will be done.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ Once again this Advent, in our hearts, may we prepare the way for the birth of your son.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ As you did for Mary, pour yourself into us and change us forever.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ For the grace to welcome the presence of Jesus that comes to us through the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Paxton Alston, cousin of Amy Cunningham; Veronica Maldonado; and Mary Ann Kramer, mother of Paul Kramer.  We pray also for those who have died, including Bob Cronin; Bill Fisher, father of Kaeli Fisher; Walter Stolle, father of Steve Stolle; Bill Agee, father of Kathryn Gillis; and Walt Zabriskie, husband of Chris Pugel. Light from light shining forth, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Light from light shining forth, we pray.
