December 13 ~ Third Sunday of Advent

+ That during this Jubilee Year of Mercy all Christians will be credible witnesses to mercy, professing and living it.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ For the world:  that enemies may begin to dialogue, that adversaries may shake hands and peoples may encounter one another in harmony.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ May all people of goodwill work together against the increasing threats to religious liberty and for all to be free of persecution.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ As the prophet said in today's reading, help us to always remember that you are with us, that you delight in us and renew us, and that we cause you to sing with joy.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ May we ever remember that you are always near -- in your Word, in the Eucharist, and in each other.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ For the grace to be joyful and free of anxiety and to be generous in showing kindness.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Charlene Collora; Mike Finn; Michelle Betts, Mary Shelley, and Peter Maricich.  We pray also for those who have died, especially Leala Moore, mother of Rebecca Weber.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord of mercy, joy and peace, we pray.
