April 9 ~ Palm Sunday

+ That the suffering and death of Jesus Christ will strengthen the Church in holiness and give her new growth.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

+ For those who are to be baptized and received into the Church at the Easter Vigil, may these final days of preparation be a time of transforming grace.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

+ Help us to have unwavering trust in you, as did Jesus.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

+ We ask you, Lord, to give us peace and stability to live and work with each other, not in fear or anxiety but rather with dignity and joy.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

+ May St. Anne parishioners and Christians everywhere live this Holy Week with special reverence, self-giving, and devotion.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick especially Betty Bertoldi; James Arthur; Frances Covey; Alice Rosenthal; Max Hanson; and Margaret Angelos.  Also, we pray for those who have died, including Jim McNamee.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Lord, hope of all peoples, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at
