April 30 ~ Third Sunday of Easter

+ May those who received the sacraments at Easter grow ever stronger in their faith and be powerful witnesses of the Gospel.  Jesus, joy of our life, we pray.

+ Give our civil leaders the wisdom to protect God-given liberties and bless our people with the courage to defend those liberties.  Jesus, joy of our life we pray.

+ We pray that Jesus will continually be made known to us in the breaking of the bread.  Jesus, joy of our life we pray.

+ Bless all the young people of our parish who will receive their First Holy Communion this weekend.  May you fill their hearts with your love for them.  Jesus, joy of our life, we pray.

+ May we always remember that we are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song!  Jesus, joy of our life, we pray.

+ For the grace to recognize Jesus in the ordinary circumstances of our daily life.  Jesus, joy of our life, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick.  Also we pray for those who have died including Rosemary Siderius.  Jesus, joy of our life, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in our Parish Book of Intercessions, and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus, joy of our life, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at
206-281-5920.
