April 3 ~ Sunday of Divine Mercy

+ That, on this divine Mercy Sunday, the Church will rededicate herself to living and proclaiming Christ's mercy.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ May Christians around the world give witness to love and faith in Jesus Christ amid political-religious conflicts.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ For those of us who, like St. Thomas, long to actually put our fingers into the holes in your hands and in your side, strengthen our belief with your love, mercy and peace.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ Help us to see the surprising signs of how you are working in the world today and let those signs excite our spirits, nurture our imaginations and strengthen our faith and unity.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ Help us to live with confidence, knowing that you care for all of us.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ For the grace to face the trials and difficulties of life with the confidence and certainty that come from the Resurrection.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ For all who are sick especially Mike Finn; Terry Casey; Judy Casey; and Lauren Kinney.  Also, we pray for those who have died including Mary Beth DiJulio, grandmother of Katie DeJulio; and Julia Flynn, mother of Damian Flynn.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus, light of divine mercy, we pray.
