April 22 ~ Fourth Sunday of Easter

+ For the bishops, the shepherds of the Church: that they will be filled with the zeal and fervor of divine love. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ May those who govern favor the paths of dialogue, reconciliation and commitment to peace. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ Help us to know in our hearts that you are our shepherd, that you laid down your life for us because you love us, and that our relationship with you is trusting, intimate and enduring. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ In thankfulness for your presence with our St. Anne's pilgrims during their journey to the Holy Land, and for their safe return to us. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ We pray for all of our parishioners now discerning if they are called to serve on our Councils and Commissions. Inspire their minds and hearts of your will in their lives. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ For the grace to reverence the holy name of Jesus in all that we do. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ For all who are sick including Luke Cheseldon [chez’-ul-dun,] son of Bryan and Mary Lou; Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko; John Blasi, father of Jeanne Riley; Jill Ragsdale; and Cheryl Potakos [poe-tack’-ose.] Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ We pray especially for the healing of our Pastoral Coordinator Ron Ryan. We also pray for those who have died including John Clarke, brother of Jackie Hennes; and Richard Arthur Hanson, father of Heidi Austin. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving. We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts. Jesus, good shepherd, we pray.
The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures. If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited: No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community. For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
