April 15 ~ Third Sunday of Easter

+ May those who were baptized and confirmed at Easter grow ever stronger in their faith and be powerful witnesses of your love in the world.  Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ For the world:  we raise our voice in prayer for peace and healing in Syria and Israel, for the Palestinians, and among all peoples and nations, and to give voice to those not able to make their cries of pain and oppression heard.  Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ For blessings on police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and all those who protect us at the risk of their own lives.  Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ Help us to remember in our hearts that we are to love one another and to act on that love in freedom and with compassion toward everyone we meet every day of our lives.  Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ May we actively respond with our very lives to the fact that Jesus lives! Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ For the grace to keep Christ's commandments and to be perfected in his love.  Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including Steve Nordeck, brother of Vicki Panko; Fr. Michael Wagner [VAHG-ner]; John Blasi, father of Jeanne Riley; and Jill Ragsdale.  We pray especially for the healing of our Pastoral Coordinator Ron Ryan.  We also pray for those who have died including John Clarke, brother of Jackie Hennes; and Richard Arthur Hanson, father of Heidi Austin. Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Holy Spirit, our inspiration, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
